West Virginia High School Soccer - Brooke knocks off Buckhannon-Upshur

Brooke Bruins (Wellsburg, WV) supporters were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Buckhannon-Upshur Buccaneers (Buckhannon, WV), 6-1 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Bruins confront the Indian Creek Redskins (Wintersville, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 22. Brooke will attempt to move on its 7-3 season record. The Redskins enter the challenge with a 7-1 record after their 1-0 non-league win over Weir (Weirton, WV).

The Buccaneers now possess a 3-8 record. They take the field next when they host East Fairmont for a Big Ten challenge on Tuesday, September 20. Buckhannon-Upshur will confront a Bees team coming off a 9-2 league win over Berkeley Springs (Berkeley Springs, WV). The Bees record now stands at 4-4.
