In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Monarch Coyotes soccer squad scored a close 5-2 triumph over the Chaparral Wolverines.
The Coyotes (5-1) will now prepare for their battle against Mountain Range (Westminster, CO). The Mustangs come into the 5A Front Range South battle with a 0-6 record. In their last battle, Mountain Range by Conifer (Conifer, CO), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
The Wolverines (3-3) will now prepare for their battle against ThunderRidge (Highlands Ranch, CO). The Grizzlies come into the 5A/4A Continental battle with a 3-3 record. In their last battle, ThunderRidge nudged Ponderosa (Parker, CO), 2-0, in a league battle.
