Marcellus Mustangs (Marcellus, NY) fans were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Chenango Valley Warriors (Binghamton, NY), 5-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Mustangs confront the Westhill Warriors (Syracuse, NY) in a OHSL - Liberty National challenge, on Tuesday, September 20. Marcellus will attempt to better on its 4-1 season record. The Warriors enter the challenge with a 7-1 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Bishop Kearney (Rochester, NY).

The Warriors now have a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they host Binghamton for a Southern Tier Athletic Conference (STAC) challenge on Monday, September 19. Chenango Valley will confront a Patriots team coming off a 2-1 league loss to Johnson City (Johnson City, NY). The Patriots record now stands at 0-7.
