Glenbard North Panthers (Carol Stream, IL) fans were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Glenbard South Raiders (Glen Ellyn, IL), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Panthers confront the Batavia Bulldogs (Batavia, IL) in a DuKane challenge, on Tuesday, September 20. Glenbard North will attempt to better on its 5-3 season record. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a 2-5 record after their 8-0 non-league loss to Hinsdale Central (Hinsdale, IL).
The Raiders now have a 2-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Streamwood for a Upstate Eight challenge on Wednesday, September 21. Glenbard South will confront a Sabres team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Elgin (Elgin, IL). The Sabres record now stands at 5-4.
