In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Lockport Porters soccer squad scored a close 1-0 win over the St. Charles North North Stars.
The Porters (8-2) will now prepare for their battle against Elgin (Elgin, IL). The Maroons go into the non-league battle with a 6-0 record. In their last battle, Elgin nipped Rockford Auburn (Rockford, IL), 9-0, in a non-league battle.
The North Stars (7-2) will now prepare for their battle against Geneva (Geneva, IL). The Vikings go into the DuKane battle with a 4-1 record. In their last battle, Geneva South Elgin (South Elgin, IL), 1-1, in a non-league battle.
