Webster County Trojans (Dixon, KY) fans were thrilled Saturday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Meade County Green Waves (Brandenburg, KY), 4-3 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Trojans confront the Bullitt East Chargers (Mt. Washington, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 17. Webster County will attempt to better on its 3-7 season record. The Chargers enter the challenge with a 10-3 record after their 5-0 non-league loss to Ballard (Louisville, KY).
The Green Waves now have a 5-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Madisonville-North Hopkins for a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 17. Meade County will meet a Maroons squad coming off a 5-2 non-league win over Butler (Louisville, KY). The Maroons record now stands at 9-4.
