The Calhoun Yellow Jackets softball team scored 2 runs and limited the host Jefferson Dragons to 1 in the Yellow Jackets non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Calhoun improves its record to 16-4 on the year. The Yellow Jackets host Wesleyan (Norcross, GA) to clash with the Wolves in a non-league game on Saturday, September 17. The Wolves come into the game with a record of 13-2. Wesleyan won 3-1 in their recent non-league game against Heritage (Ringgold, GA)

In their next game, the Dragons clash with the North Oconee Titans (Bogart, GA) in a non-league game, on Monday, September 19. Jefferson will attempt to improve on its 11-8 season record. The Titans come into the game with a 10-8 record after their 6-0 league win over Seckinger (Buford, GA).
