The Wesleyan Wolves softball team scored 8 runs and limited the host Calhoun Yellow Jackets to 3 in the Wolves non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Wesleyan moves its record to 15-2 on the year. The Wolves host Gilmer (Ellijay, GA) to play the Bobcats in a 3A Region 7 game on Tuesday, September 20. The Bobcats come into the game with a record of 6-10. Gilmer won 5-4 in their recent league game against Lumpkin County (Dahlonega, GA)

In their next game, the Yellow Jackets play the Cartersville Hurricanes (Cartersville, GA) in a 5A Region 7 game, on Tuesday, September 20. Calhoun will attempt to move on its 16-4 season record. The Hurricanes come into the game with a 10-7 record after their 11-0 non-league loss to LaFayette (LaFayette, GA).
