The Gordon Lee Trojans softball team scored 14 runs and limited the visiting Cartersville Hurricanes to 0 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Gordon Lee moves its record to 14-4 on the year. The Trojans travel to Coahulla Creek (Dalton, GA) to play the Colts in a 3A Region 6 game on Tuesday, September 20. The Colts come into the game with a record of 12-5. Coahulla Creek won 7-5 in their recent non-league game against North Murray (Chatsworth, GA)

In their next game, the Hurricanes play the LaFayette Ramblers (LaFayette, GA) in a non-league game, on Monday, September 19. Cartersville will attempt to move on its 10-6 season record. The Ramblers come into the game with a 13-3 record after their 4-0 league loss to Bremen (Bremen, GA).
