Missouri High School Softball - Notre Dame nudges Jefferson

The crowd at Saturday's non-league match between the Notre Dame Rebels (St. Louis, MO) and the visiting Jefferson Blue Jays (Festus, MO), saw Notre Dame's softball squad nip Jefferson by a count of 4-3.
The Rebels now sport a 8-3 record. They take the field next when they host St. Francis Borgia for a non-league match on Tuesday, September 20.
With the loss, Jefferson falls to 2-1 on the campaign. The Blue jays host Kelly (Benton, MO) to face the Hawks in a Class 2 District 3 match on Monday, September 19. The Hawks enter the match with a record of 0-0.
