Alabama High School Volleyball - Alabama Christian Academy edged by Benjamin Russell

The Benjamin Russell Wildcats held off the host Alabama Christian Academy Eagles volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Wildcats now have a 11-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wetumpka for a non-league test on Saturday, September 17. Benjamin Russell will confront a Indians squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Tallassee (Tallassee, AL). The Indians record now stands at 12-11.

With the loss, Alabama Christian Academy moves to 2-11 on the year. The Eagles travel to Beauregard (Opelika, AL) to battle the Hornets in a non-league contest on Sunday, September 18. The Hornets go into the contest with a record of 10-4.
