The Hermantown Hawks volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Barnum Bombers to 0 in the Hawks non-league victory on Saturday.
The Hawks now possess a 10-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Verndale for a non-league game on Saturday, September 17. Hermantown will meet a Pirates team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Parkers Prairie (Parkers Prairie, MN). The Pirates record now stands at 0-1.
The Bombers (2-3) will now prepare for their game against Kelley (Silver Bay, MN). The Mariners enter the Polar game with a 0-2 record. In their last game, Kelley was dropped by Floodwood (Floodwood, MN), 3-0, in a league game.
