In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Fieldcrest Knights volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Cissna Park Timberwolves.

The Knights (16-0) will now prepare for their battle against Roanoke-Benson (Roanoke, IL). The Rockets come into the non-league battle with a 1-8 record. In their last battle, Roanoke-Benson lost by Woodland (Streator, IL), 2-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Timberwolves encounter the Armstrong Trojans (Armstrong, IL) in a Vermilion Valley battle, on Tuesday, September 20. Cissna Park will attempt to advance on its 9-1 season record. The Trojans come into the battle with a 6-6 record after their 2-0 league loss to Milford (Milford, IL).
