Indiana High School Volleyball - Covington can't hold off Homestead

September 17, 2022: Covington, IN 47932

In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Homestead Spartans volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Covington Trojans.

The Spartans (15-2) will now prepare for their battle against Guerin Catholic (Noblesville, IN). The Golden Eagles come into the non-league battle with a 5-10 record. In their last battle, Guerin Catholic was edged by Lafayette Central Catholic (Lafayette, IN), 3-1, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Trojans encounter the Clinton Prairie Gophers (Frankfort, IN) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, September 17. Covington will attempt to advance on its 13-8 season record. The Gophers come into the battle with a 9-6 record after their 3-0 league win over Taylor (Kokomo, IN).
