South Dakota High School Volleyball - Douglas Mitchell

The Mitchell Kernels topped the visiting Douglas Patriots volleyball team by a score of 3-1 in Saturday's league test.

The Kernels now have a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Brookings for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 20. Mitchell will confront a Bobcats team coming off a 3-0 league loss to O'Gorman (Sioux Falls, SD). The Bobcats record now stands at 2-8.

The Patriots (3-9) will now prepare for their test against Red Cloud (Pine Ridge, SD). The Crusaders enter the non-league test with a 3-7 record. In their last test, Red Cloud was knocked off by Rapid City Christian (Rapid City, SD), 3-0, in a non-league test.
