The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Newark Reds (Newark, NY) and the host East Rochester Bombers (East Rochester, NY), saw Newark's volleyball squad beat East Rochester by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Newark upgrades its record to 1-4 on the year. The Reds host Gananda Central (Walworth, NY) to play the Blue Panthers in a non-league bout on Monday, September 19. The Blue Panthers go into the bout with a record of 4-0. Gananda Central won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Avon (Avon, NY)

The Bombers now own a 1-5 record. They play next when they travel to Sodus for a Section 5 Wayne County bout on Wednesday, September 21. East Rochester will play a Spartans squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to North Rose-Wolcott (Wolcott, NY). The Spartans record now stands at 0-4.
