Next up, the Bulldogs battle the Metro-East Lutheran Knights (Edwardsville, IL) in a non-league match, on Saturday, September 17. Waterloo will attempt to advance on its 12-3 season record. The Knights come into the match with a 5-9 record after their 2-1 league win over Marquette Catholic (Alton, IL).

With the loss, East St. Louis drops to 4-7 on the campaign. The Flyers travel to Belleville East (Belleville, IL) to battle the Lancers in a Southwestern match on Saturday, September 17. The Lancers come into the match with a record of 7-5. Belleville East won 2-1 in their recent league match against Belleville West (Belleville, IL)
