Texas High School Volleyball - Economedes tips Weslaco

The Economedes Jaguars (Edinburg, TX) volleyball nudged the visiting Weslaco Panthers (Weslaco, TX), 3-2 in Saturday's non-league outing.

With the win, Economedes upgrades its record to 12-13 on the year. The Jaguars travel to Pharr-San Juan-Alamo (San Juan, TX) to face the Bears in a 6A Region IV District 31 outing on Saturday, September 24. The Bears go into the outing with a record of 17-13. Pharr-San Juan-Alamo lost 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against United (Laredo, TX)

The Panthers now own a 4-16 record. They play next when they travel to Harlingen for a 6A Region IV District 32 outing on Tuesday, September 20. Weslaco will face a Cardinals squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Laredo LBJ (Laredo, TX). The Cardinals record now stands at 17-9.
