The Edwards County Lions volleyball team (Albion, IL), was dropped 2-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the visiting Marion Wildcats (Marion, IL)

The Wildcats (13-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Carbondale (Carbondale, IL). The Terriers enter the South Seven challenge with a 6-9 record. In their last challenge, Carbondale defeated Effingham (Effingham, IL), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Lions meet the Richland County Tigers (Olney, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 22. Edwards County will attempt to move on its 11-7 season record. The Tigers enter the challenge with a 5-9 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Effingham (Effingham, IL).
