Illinois High School Volleyball - Erie-Prophetstown can't hold off Marengo

In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Marengo Indians volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Erie-Prophetstown Panthers.
The Indians (13-8) will now prepare for their battle against River Ridge (Hanover, IL). The Wildcats come into the non-league battle with a 6-6 record. In their last battle, River Ridge nudged East Dubuque (East Dubuque, IL), 2-1, in a league battle.
Next, the Panthers clash with the Indian Creek Timberwolves (Shabbona, IL) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, September 17. Erie-Prophetstown will attempt to advance on its 5-8 season record. The Timberwolves come into the battle with a 8-4 record after their 2-1 league win over Newark (Newark, IL).
