Illinois High School Volleyball - Evergreen Park can't hold off Providence Catholic

In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Providence Catholic Celtics volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Evergreen Park Mustangs.

The Celtics (8-9) will now prepare for their battle against Lincoln-Way Central (New Lenox, IL). The Knights come into the non-league battle with a 11-2 record. In their last battle, Lincoln-Way Central nudged Bremen (Midlothian, IL), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Mustangs encounter the Richards Bulldogs (Oak Lawn, IL) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, September 17. Evergreen Park will attempt to move on its 10-7 season record. The Bulldogs come into the battle with a 4-11 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Portage (Portage, IN).
