The Fairport Red Raiders volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Wayne Eagles to 0 in the Red Raiders non-league victory on Saturday.
The Red Raiders now have a 9-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Honeoye Falls-Lima for a non-league game on Saturday, September 17. Fairport will meet a Cougars team coming off a 3-0 league win over Eastridge (Rochester, NY). The Cougars record now stands at 1-4.
The Eagles (4-5) will now prepare for their game against Irondequoit (Rochester, NY). The Eagles enter the non-league game with a 9-2 record. In their last game, Irondequoit gained a win over Brockport (Brockport, NY), 3-0, in a league game.
