The South Lyon East Cougars topped the host Grosse Pointe North Norsemen volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Cougars now have a 13-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Walled Lake Northern for a Lakes Valley test on Tuesday, September 20. South Lyon East will confront a Knights team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Bloomfield Hills (Bloomfield Hills, MI). The Knights record now stands at 16-5.
The Norsemen (0-2) will now prepare for their test against Athens (Troy, MI). The Red Hawks enter the non-league test with a 7-8 record. In their last test, Athens gained a win over Groves (Beverly Hills, MI), 3-0, in a league test.
