    The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Hinsdale Central Red Devils (Hinsdale, IL) and the visiting Homewood-Flossmoor Vikings (Flossmoor, IL), saw Hinsdale Central's volleyball squad nip Homewood-Flossmoor by a tally of 2-1.

    With the win, Hinsdale Central upgrades its record to 8-7 on the year. The Red Devils travel to Oswego East (Oswego, IL) to play the Wolves in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 17. The Wolves go into the bout with a record of 8-4. Oswego East won 2-0 in their recent league bout against Oswego (Oswego, IL)

    The Vikings now own a 6-7 record. They play next when they travel to Geneva for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 17. Homewood-Flossmoor will play a Vikings squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Plainfield North (Plainfield, IL). The Vikings record now stands at 5-9.
