Illinois High School Volleyball - Lincoln over Lena-Winslow

The Lincoln Railsplitters (Lincoln, IL) volleyball overcame the host Lena-Winslow Panthers (Lena, IL), 2-0 in Saturday's non-league outing.

With the win, Lincoln upgrades its record to 12-3 on the year. The Railsplitters travel to Charleston (Charleston, IL) to face the Trojans in a Apollo outing on Tuesday, September 20. The Trojans go into the outing with a record of 1-13. Charleston won 2-1 in their recent non-league outing against MacArthur (Decatur, IL)

The Panthers now own a 10-6 record. They play next when they host Pearl City for a Northwest Upstate Illini outing on Monday, September 19. Lena-Winslow will face a Wolves squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Rockridge (Taylor Ridge, IL). The Wolves record now stands at 8-10.
