Colorado High School Volleyball - Mancos nudged by Nucla

The Nucla Mustangs volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Mancos Bluejays to 2 in the Mustangs league victory on Saturday.

The Mustangs now possess a 11-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Telluride for a 2A/1A San Juan Basin game on Tuesday, September 20. Nucla will meet a Miners team coming off a 3-2 league loss to Dolores (Dolores, CO). The Miners record now stands at 4-9.

The Bluejays (6-3) will now prepare for their game against Dove Creek (Dove Creek, CO). The Bulldogs enter the 2A/1A San Juan Basin game with a 12-0 record. In their last game, Dove Creek nipped Ignacio (Ignacio, CO), 3-0, in a non-league game.
