In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting West Side Pirates volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Marsh Valley Eagles.
The Pirates (9-1) will now prepare for their battle against Bear Lake (Montpelier, ID). The Bears come into the 2A South East Idaho battle with a 8-3 record. In their last battle, Bear Lake achieved victory over Soda Springs (Soda Springs, ID), 3-1, in a league battle.
Next, the Eagles clash with the Sugar-Salem Diggers (Sugar City, ID) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, September 20. Marsh Valley will attempt to advance on its 2-6 season record. The Diggers come into the battle with a 4-4 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Eagle (Eagle, ID).
