Illinois High School Volleyball - Metea Valley edged by Plainfield North

The Plainfield North Tigers held off the host Metea Valley Mustangs volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Tigers now have a 15-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Charles North for a non-league test on Saturday, September 17. Plainfield North will confront a North Stars team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Hinsdale Central (Hinsdale, IL). The North Stars record now stands at 11-4.
The Mustangs (15-4) will now prepare for their test against Wheaton-Warrenville South (Wheaton, IL). The Tigers enter the non-league test with a 9-6 record. In their last test, Wheaton-Warrenville South held off Downers Grove North (Downers Grove, IL), 2-0, in a non-league test.
