The Sacred Heart Academy Spartans volleyball team (Hempstead, NY), went down 2-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the host Mineola Mustangs (New Hyde Park, NY)

The Mustangs (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Kellenberg Memorial (Uniondale, NY). The Firebirds come into the non-league challenge with a 8-0 record. In their last challenge, Kellenberg Memorial defeated St. Mary's (Manhasset, NY), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Spartans encounter the Holy Trinity Titans (Hicksville, NY) in a Catholic challenge, on Tuesday, September 20. Sacred Heart Academy will attempt to move on its 2-2 season record.
