Maine High School Volleyball - Mount Desert Island over Woodland

The Mount Desert Island Trojans (Mount Desert, ME) volleyball were winner over the visiting Woodland Dragons (Baileyville, ME), 3-0 in Saturday's non-league outing.

With the win, Mount Desert Island betters its record to 3-2 on the year. The Trojans host Washington Academy (East Machias, ME) to face the Raiders in a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 20. The Raiders go into the outing with a record of 5-0. Washington Academy won 3-0 in their recent league outing against Woodland (Baileyville, ME)

The Dragons now sport a 2-4 record. They play next when they travel to Jonesport-Beals for a Class C outing on Monday, September 19. Woodland will face a Royals squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Sumner (East Sullivan, ME). The Royals record now stands at 3-2.
