The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Sonoma Valley Dragons (Sonoma, CA) and the visiting West Park Panthers (Roseville, CA), saw Sonoma Valley's volleyball squad nip West Park by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Sonoma Valley upgrades its record to 5-3 on the year. The Dragons travel to San Marin (Novato, CA) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 17. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 10-6. San Marin lost 3-1 in their recent league bout against San Rafael (San Rafael, CA)

The Panthers now own a 14-6 record. They play next when they host Oakmont for a Foothill Valley League bout on Monday, September 19. West Park will play a Vikings squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Folsom (Folsom, CA). The Vikings record now stands at 1-7.
