Phelps Lions (Malvern, PA) fans were pleased Sunday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Western Reserve Academy Pioneers (Hudson, OH), 3-1 in a league challenge.
Next, the Lions confront the Perkiomen School Panthers (Pennsburg, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, September 20. Phelps will attempt to better on its 2-0 season record. The Panthers enter the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 4-4 non-league Mercersburg Academy (Mercersburg, PA).
The Pioneers now have a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they host Norwayne for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, September 20. Western Reserve Academy will confront a Bobcats team coming off a 10-0 league win over Chippewa (Doylestown, OH). The Bobcats record now stands at 8-0.
