The Cibola Cougars football squad scored 12 points and limited the visiting West Mesa Mustangs to 8 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Cougars now hold a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they host Volcano Vista for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 24. Cibola will meet a Hawks squad coming off a 47-0 non-league win over Sandia (Albuquerque, NM). The Hawks record now stands at 3-1.
With the defeat, West Mesa drops to 1-3 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Atrisco Heritage Academy (Albuquerque, NM) to meet the Jaguars in a test on Tuesday, September 24. The Jaguars come into the test with a record of 0-3.
