Arizona High School Flag Football - Benjamin Franklin can't hold off Higley

Higley Knights (Gilbert, AZ) fans went home in high spirits Tuesday as they saw their flag football team tip the visiting Benjamin Franklin Chargers (Queen Creek, AZ), 27-21 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Higley improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Knights host Chandler (Chandler, AZ) to play the Wolves in a non-league battle on Thursday, September 19. The Wolves go into the battle with a record of 0-1. Chandler lost 16-6 in their recent non-league battle against Desert Vista (Phoenix, AZ)

The Chargers now have a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to South Mountain for a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 24. Benjamin Franklin will play a Jaguars team coming off a 13-0 non-league win over Carl Hayden Community (Phoenix, AZ). The Jaguars record now stands at 2-0.
