In Tuesday's non-league outing, the host Albuquerque Academy Chargers soccer squad scored a tight 2-0 victory over the St. Pius X Sartans.
The Chargers (8-2) will now prepare for their outing against Farmington (Farmington, NM). The Scorpions go into the non-league outing with a 8-2 record. In their last outing, Farmington got by Bloomfield (Bloomfield, NM), 3-1, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Sartans play the Los Alamos Hilltoppers (Los Alamos, NM) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, September 19. St. Pius X will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record. The Hilltoppers go into the outing with a 5-4 record after their 4-1 non-league win over Rio Rancho (Rio Rancho, NM).
