In Tuesday's league outing, the host Mount Vernon Bulldogs soccer squad scored a tight 1-0 victory over the Anacortes Seahawks.

The Bulldogs (3-1) will now prepare for their outing against Lakewood (Arlington, WA). The Cougars go into the 1A/2A/3A Northwest outing with a 0-3 record. In their last outing, Lakewood was edged by Nooksack Valley (Everson, WA), 3-1, in a league outing.

Next up, the Seahawks play the Oak Harbor Wildcats (Oak Harbor, WA) in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest outing, on Thursday, September 19. Anacortes will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Wildcats go into the outing with a 4-0 record after their 4-1 league win over Sedro-Woolley (Sedro-Woolley, WA).
