Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the Erskine Academy Eagles (South China, ME) and the host Belfast Lions (Belfast, ME), saw Erskine Academy's soccer squad knock off Belfast by a count of 3-0.

The Eagles (2-2) will now prepare for their battle against Waterville (Waterville, ME). The Panthers enter the Class B - North battle with a 2-2 record. In their last battle, Waterville tipped Cony (Augusta, ME), 5-2, in a league battle.

Next up, the Lions confront the Medomak Valley Panthers (Waldoboro, ME) in a Class B - North battle, on Thursday, September 19. Belfast will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Panthers enter the battle with a 4-0 record after their 2-0 league win over Gardiner (Gardiner, ME).
