Fans at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Cretin-Derham Hall Raiders (St. Paul, MN) and the host Irondale Knights (New Brighton, MN), saw Cretin-Derham Hall's soccer squad hold off Irondale by a count of 2-1.

The Raiders (4-4) will now prepare for their battle against Mounds View (Arden Hills, MN). The Mustangs enter the non-league battle with a 5-3 record. In their last battle, Mounds View was edged by Stillwater (Stillwater, MN), 4-1, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Knights battle the Woodbury Royals (Woodbury, MN) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, September 19. Irondale will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Royals enter the battle with a 6-0 record after their 2-0 league win over Park (Cottage Grove, MN).
