Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the Powell Panthers (Powell, TN) and the visiting Halls Red Devils (Knoxville, TN), saw Powell's soccer squad triumph over Halls by a count of 10-1.

The Panthers (8-2) will now prepare for their battle against Oak Ridge (Oak Ridge, TN). The Wildcats enter the AAA District 3 battle with a 6-4 record. In their last battle, Oak Ridge was overwhelmed by Knoxville Central (Knoxville, TN), 6-2, in a league battle.

Next up, the Red Devils confront the Campbell County Cougars (Jacksboro, TN) in a AAA District 3 battle, on Thursday, September 19. Halls will attempt to upgrade on its 2-8 season record. The Cougars enter the battle with a 6-4 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Scott (Huntsville, TN).
