In Tuesday's non-league outing, the host Mt. Vernon Yellowjackets soccer squad scored a tight 7-0 victory over the West Cowboys.
The Yellowjackets (4-4) will now prepare for their outing against Granville (Granville, OH). The Blue Aces go into the Licking County outing with a 7-1 record. In their last outing, Granville was overwhelmed by Avon (Avon, OH), 2-0, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Cowboys play the Whetstone Braves (Columbus, OH) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, September 24. West will attempt to improve on its 0-5 season record.
