With the triumph, Denver East moves its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Angels host Broomfield (Broomfield, CO) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league test on Thursday, September 26. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 6-2.

The Chargers now sport a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they host Columbine for a test on Thursday, October 3.
