The Monroe Area Purple Hurricanes (Monroe, GA) volleyball knocked off the visiting Madison County Red Raiders (Danielsville, GA), 2-0 in Tuesday's non-league bout.

The Purple Hurricanes now possess a 4-8 record. They play next when they travel to Johnson for a non-league bout on Thursday, September 19. Monroe Area will clash with a Knights team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Lumpkin County (Dahlonega, GA). The Knights record now stands at 0-4.

With the loss, Madison County drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Red raiders travel to North Oconee (Bogart, GA) to clash with the Titans in a bout on Tuesday, September 24. The Titans come into the bout with a record of 11-0.
