In Tuesday's league outing, the host Waubonsie Valley Warriors soccer squad scored a tight 7-0 victory over the DeKalb Barbs.
The Warriors (5-1) will now prepare for their outing against Plainfield South (Plainfield, IL). The Cougars go into the non-league outing with a 1-5 record. In their last outing, Plainfield South was overwhelmed by Plainfield Central (Plainfield, IL), 4-0, in a league outing.
Next up, the Barbs confront the Guilford Vikings (Rockford, IL) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, September 19. DeKalb will attempt to improve on its 2-7 season record. The Vikings go into the outing with a 2-5 record after their 2-1 league loss to Harlem (Machesney Park, IL).
