With the triumph, Essex advances its record to 4-2 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to South Burlington (South Burlington, VT) to clash with the Wolves in a Metro test on Thursday, September 19. The Wolves come into the test with a record of 5-2. South Burlington won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Rutland (Rutland, VT)

The Raiders now have a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they host Woodstock for a non-league test on Saturday, September 21. Rutland will clash with a Wasps team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Leland & Gray (Townshend, VT). The Wasps record now stands at 1-3.
