The Lutheran Crusaders (Springfield, IL) volleyball held off the visiting Auburn Trojans (Auburn, IL), 2-1 in Tuesday's non-league bout.

The Crusaders now possess a 9-3 record. They play next when they host Bunker Hill for a MSM bout on Wednesday, September 18. Lutheran will clash with a Minutemen team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Staunton (Staunton, IL). The Minutemen record now stands at 2-6.

With the loss, Auburn drops to 6-8 on the campaign. The Trojans host Olympia (Stanford, IL) to clash with the Spartans in a Sangamo bout on Thursday, September 19. The Spartans come into the bout with a record of 4-10. Olympia won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Prairie Central (Fairbury, IL)
