In Tuesday's league challenge, the host Thornton Academy Trojans volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Bonny Eagle Scots.

The Trojans (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against South Portland (South Portland, ME). The Red Riots come into the Class A challenge with a 2-2 record. In their last challenge, South Portland lost by Gorham (Gorham, ME), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Scots play the Wells Warriors (Wells, ME) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 19. Bonny Eagle will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 1-3 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Noble (North Berwick, ME).
