The Mustangs (6-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Frederick A. Douglass (New Orleans, LA). The Bobcats enter the non-league challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Frederick A. Douglass beat St. Katharine Drexel (New Orleans, LA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Lions meet the Belle Chasse Cardinals (Belle Chasse, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, September 18. Booker T. Washington will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Cardinals enter the challenge with a 9-2 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Riverdale (Jefferson, LA).
