The Marist Spartans volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Cascade Cougars to 0 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Spartans now possess a 5-0 record. They play next when they host Crook County for a non-league outing on Saturday, September 21. Marist will play a Cowboys team coming off a 3-2 league loss to The Dalles (The Dalles, OR). The Cowboys record now stands at 13-2.

With the loss, Cascade drops to 4-5 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Stayton (Stayton, OR) to play the Eagles in a 4A Oregon West outing on Tuesday, September 24. The Eagles come into the outing with a record of 4-5. Stayton won 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against Gladstone (Gladstone, OR)
