In Tuesday's league challenge, the visiting Mt. Zion Bulldogs volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Douglass Astros.
The Bulldogs (1-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Greater Atlanta Christian (Norcross, GA). The Spartans come into the 3A Area 5 challenge with a 17-9 record.
Next, the Astros meet the Banneker Trojans (College Park, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, September 18. Douglass will attempt to upgrade on its 2-11 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 6-7 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Washington (Atlanta, GA).
