Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Ferndale Golden Eagles (Ferndale, WA) and the host Mt. Baker Mountaineers (Deming, WA), observed Ferndale's volleyball team top Mt. Baker by a count of 3-0.
The Golden Eagles (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against Sedro-Woolley (Sedro-Woolley, WA). The Cubs enter the 1A/2A/3A Northwest contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Sedro-Woolley was knocked off by Oak Harbor (Oak Harbor, WA), 3-2, in a league contest.
